Who we are

Planetic (PlaneticUK) is the data controller for personal data collected through planetic.io. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, email hello@planetic.io.

What we collect

Contact details you submit through forms or when you book a call or place an order (name, email, organisation, and any message). Telemetry from deployed sensors that flows into your tenant. Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, request paths) retained for security and operational purposes.

Why we use it & our lawful basis

To respond to enquiries, scope and fulfil orders, provide the platform, and keep the site secure. Our lawful bases are the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the business, and your consent where required (for example any marketing, which you can withdraw at any time).

What we don’t collect

Personally-identifying sensor data. We monitor environments, not individuals. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the site and fulfil orders — for example our hosting provider, our shop and payment platform, and our distribution partner — each acting under contract on our instructions. We do not share your data for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to meet legal and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction of, the personal data we hold about you, and object to certain processing. Email hello@planetic.ioand we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
