What’s covered
Devices are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for 12 months from despatch, on a return-to-base basis — longer where the manufacturer or your contract states (the term for each device is shown in its specification). If a device fails in normal use within this period, we will repair or replace it, or refund the price paid if repair or replacement isn’t possible.
How to claim
Report the failure within the warranty period to hello@planetic.io with your order reference and a description of the fault. We arrange the return to base and the repair, replacement or refund.
What voids it
The warranty is void where the barcode or test labels have been removed, or where the device has been damaged through misuse or bad installation — for example, where it was not stored, installed, used or maintained in line with the instructions, modified or repaired without our written consent, or affected by fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence or abnormal working conditions (such as a non-waterproof device used outdoors).
The Planetic platform
This warranty covers hardware. The Planetic monitoring platform and your licence are provided under your subscription terms, separately from the device warranty.
