What It Does
Built for heating.
A smart radiator valve (TRV) — room-by-room heating control over LoRaWAN, with a five-year battery and ±0.5°C accuracy. The unit that turns a heating bill into a managed cost. LoRaWAN decoder: Milesight WT101 payload decoder & codec (GitHub)
Highlights
Room-by-room control
Sets a target temperature at each radiator independently over LoRaWAN — eliminating the over-heated corridors and under-heated classrooms that come with a single zone heating schedule.
Up to eight-year battery
Two replaceable AA cells last up to eight years at a ten-minute interval, so a whole-building valve rollout does not become an annual maintenance programme.
Fits existing radiators
Ships with an M30 × 1.5 mm fitting as standard and adapters for Danfoss RA/RAV/RAVL, Giacomini, Comap, Herz and TA — covering the vast majority of radiator valves already installed in UK public-sector stock.

Complete The Setup
You will also need a gateway.
Every LoRaWAN sensor needs a gateway to reach the internet. One gateway covers a whole building — the Milesight UG65 is the standard choice for most sites.
On The Platform
A device on its own, or part of the bigger picture.
Buy this device and run it yourself, or have it monitored on the Planetic platform — live dashboards, standards tracking and automatic alerts, with the compliance evidence kept for you.
Questions
Good to know.
- Do I need anything else to use this device?
- Every LoRaWAN sensor needs a gateway to reach the internet. One gateway covers a whole building — the Milesight UG65 is the standard choice for most sites. The gateway itself does not need a sensor to run.
- Is the price ex VAT?
- Yes — all prices shown are ex VAT. VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
- Can I have it monitored on the Planetic platform?
- Yes. Buy the device outright and run it yourself, or have it monitored on Planetic — live dashboards, standards tracking and automatic alerts, with compliance evidence kept for you.
