A secondary school estate, monitored continuously against the temperature and air-quality bands set out in BB101.

Nine-point-six percent of teaching minutes across the term were flagged as under-heated against the standard. That isn't a one-off cold morning. That's roughly one period in every ten where the rooms weren't meeting the threshold children are meant to be taught in.

The CO₂ side of BB101 showed the same kind of pattern. Peaks were identified during the build-up to half-term, not retrospectively after the holiday when the data dump was finally reviewed.

The change is the timing, not the numbers.

Estates teams already know which rooms are problematic. What changes with continuous data is when you know — and how much room there is to act before the next inspection, the next OFSTED visit, or the next set of parent complaints.

The compliance dashboard isn't a report at the end of the term. It's a live state, with the standard built in.
