What It Does
Built for occupancy.
Privacy-safe occupancy detector designed for bathrooms — knows if a stall is in use without seeing it. No camera, no image data, just a reliable occupied/vacant signal. LoRaWAN decoder: Milesight VS330 payload decoder & codec (GitHub)
Highlights
Privacy-safe, no camera
Time-of-Flight and PIR dual-fusion detects whether a cubicle or bathroom is occupied without any image capture — safe for schools, care homes and social housing where camera-based sensors are not acceptable.
99.5% accuracy
ToF ranging combined with PIR motion achieves over 99.5% detection accuracy, reducing false 'vacant' readings that leave facilities staff unsure whether a space has been vacated or a sensor has failed.
Adjustable angle, six positions
The sensor head tilts to six preset angles (0°–75°) so it can be aimed correctly from a ceiling or partition wall, fitting the varied cubicle heights and door configurations found across public-sector building stock.

Complete The Setup
You will also need a gateway.
Every LoRaWAN sensor needs a gateway to reach the internet. One gateway covers a whole building — the Milesight UG65 is the standard choice for most sites.
On The Platform
A device on its own, or part of the bigger picture.
Buy this device and run it yourself, or have it monitored on the Planetic platform — live dashboards, standards tracking and automatic alerts, with the compliance evidence kept for you.
Questions
Good to know.
- Do I need anything else to use this device?
- Every LoRaWAN sensor needs a gateway to reach the internet. One gateway covers a whole building — the Milesight UG65 is the standard choice for most sites. The gateway itself does not need a sensor to run.
- Is the price ex VAT?
- Yes — all prices shown are ex VAT. VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
- Can I have it monitored on the Planetic platform?
- Yes. Buy the device outright and run it yourself, or have it monitored on Planetic — live dashboards, standards tracking and automatic alerts, with compliance evidence kept for you.
