What It Does

Built for occupancy.

A PIR presence and light sensor in one compact unit. Detects motion up to 8 m with a 120° × 100° field of view and measures ambient light from 1 to 60,000 lux — the combination needed for occupancy-triggered lighting control. Battery-powered with NFC configuration and Milesight D2D for direct device-to-device operation without a gateway. LoRaWAN decoder: Milesight WS202 payload decoder & codec (GitHub)

Motion and light together

A single unit reports both presence and ambient light level — giving facilities teams the two readings needed to understand whether a space is occupied and how it is being lit, without deploying separate sensors.

D2D without a gateway

Milesight D2D lets the WS202 trigger a light switch or relay directly, peer-to-peer, so occupancy-controlled lighting can work even if the LoRaWAN gateway is offline.
